Happy Veterans Day

The weather outside is so beautiful and Black Jack and I enjoyed our walk so much. It rained yesterday and so I appreciate the good weather whenever we have it. I have so much to be grateful for. Corby and I celebrated veterans day by going to the concert at the U of U. Yes he had to go but I was still glad that we did. I am so grateful for those who served and died so that I can live in this amazing free country. I am overwhelmed by the blessing of agency. I feel like I have come this far in my life without appreciating and understanding agency and the freedom to chose. I want to teach my children that the freedom to chose is the most important thing in the world we fought a war before we came here which is what we continue to fight here and now. The world conflicts are repeated in our homes and lives on a constant basis as we chose to do what is right and to fight for freedom for all of Gods children. I am so proud of my Husband my dad and my father-in-law we have a legacy of freedom fighters in our family.

Sometimes I wish that we still had to go to those concerts. I still get tears in my eyes when a flag passes. Hurray for freedom.

Coming home from Vegas on Sunday, the flight attendant honored our vets and military men with a thank you and the plane erupted with applause, I got the chills. I too appreciate and am so grateful for those men and women and their families who do sacrifice so much and for a country that will stand alone. I love you and Corby.
